Friday's concert in the Fifth Annual Beethovenfest is a benefit performance on behalf of the Santa Barbara Music Club. Established in 1969, the Music Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the support and appreciation of music in the greater Santa Barbara area. Each year the Music Club sponsors a well-attended series of free concerts held in the Santa Barbara Public Library's Faulkner Gallery and in local churches. The Club also disburses scholarships for deserving young local musicians, and promotes American music and artists.
Tickets to the Benefit Concert on Friday, December 7, are $35.00. Proceeds support the Santa Barbara Music Club.
Tickets for the Saturday, December 8 concert are $25.00.
